Click “set background image” to select a previously uploaded image or to upload a new background image  for your built-in contact form area. Use this background image to make the contact form blend in with a custom background you may be using in other content areas, or use it to set the contact form apart. For example, in the “Late August” design, a thin horizontal image is uploaded as the contact form background image, and it is set to tile vertically:

This is the same image used as the bio area background image in “ProPhoto” > “Customize” > “Bio Area” > “Background” so the custom border flows seamlessly between the two areas.

The same full width vertically tiled background image is uploaded to both the contact form and the bio area.

NOTE: if you see gap between your backgrounds, there may be separation added to one or more sections. Check the background settings in “ProPhoto” > “Customize” > “Background” > “Site section separation” as well as any other ProPhoto settings areas that affect things adjacent to the contact form.
