Mobile Masthead Options

This particular option can be found by logging into your site's admin area and going to:
"ProPhoto" > "Customize" > "Mobile" > "Masthead"

Similar to the logo, you can choose to either use the same masthead images and settings that you’ve already uploaded and made in the “ProPhoto” > “Customize” > “Header Area” > “Masthead Image & Slideshow” area.  Or you can choose to use mobile site specific masthead images and settings.  This can be especially helpful if you want to display smaller and/or different masthead images on your mobile site.

This particular option can be found by logging into your site's admin area and going to:
"ProPhoto 4" > "Customize" > "Mobile" > "Masthead"

Similar to the logo, you can choose to either use the same masthead images and settings that you’ve already uploaded and made in the “ProPhoto” > “Customize” > “Header Area” > “Masthead Image & Slideshow” area.  Or you can choose to use mobile site specific masthead images and settings.  This can be especially helpful if you want to display smaller and/or different masthead images on your mobile site.

If you do choose the “set specific mobile masthead settings” option, you will see a “Mobile masthead display” options area appear with 4 different options.

Then, depending on which of these options you select, other option boxes will appear, very similar to how the options in “ProPhoto” > “Customize” > “Header Area” > “Masthead Image & Slideshow” work.  There are a couple of exceptions though to be aware of.

First, the mobile specific masthead options do not allow for the use of a masthead frame image, like the regular site masthead options do.  Also, if you are using the mobile specific masthead options, and you have “slideshow of images” selected, be aware that you do not have the ability to modify or remove the masthead slideshow on certain page types  as is available with the standard masthead slideshow options.
