Mobile Site Overview


This particular option can be found by logging into your site's admin area and going to:
"ProPhoto" > "Customize" > "Mobile"

With ProPhoto, you have an option of how your site is displayed to viewers on mobile devices. If you want them to see your site just as they would on a laptop or desktop, you can do that. Your ProPhoto blog will displayed and operate just as is it would on a computer at home or work, just smaller. With a little bit of pinching and zooming, a mobile user can see and use and read every part of your site.

Or, you can enable a ‘mobile-specific’ version of your blog, which will let visitors using mobile devices see a more stripped down, easier to navigate version of your ProPhoto site, optimized for smaller screens and touch navigation.  Not to mention that Google will prefer the use of the “Mobile Site” for search rankings.

The mobile site is customized separately from the desktop site in “ProPhoto” > “Customize” > “Mobile“.   With ease of use and simplicity in mind, it has fewer customization options and a utilizes a Footer Menu instead of the desktop header menu.
