Overall Comments Margins

This particular option can be found by logging into your site's admin area and going to:
"ProPhoto" > "Customize" > "Comments" > "General"

By default, your site will inherit the overall width, and content margins (left and right) that are applied in the “ProPhoto” > “Customize” > “Background” > “Site width and content left/right margins” area, as seen in this example:

However, you can choose to apply a custom margin for your comments area.

This can allow you to keep a consistent width to match images, or can allow your comments area to span the full width of your site content area.

A full-width comment area can visually separate blog posts

Your blog has overall content margins (left and right) that are applied in the “Blog width and content margin” area under your “Background” tab. By default, your comment area will inherit those same margins.

You can however choose to apply a custom margin for your comments area.

This can allow you to keep a consistent width to match images, or can allow your comments area to span the full width of your blog’s content area.
