Sidebar Overview

ProPhoto creates a Sidebar Area where you can use Widgets to place unique content or even dynamic content for visitors to interact with along the left or right side of your site’s content.

Show/Hide Sidebar Area

ProPhoto gives you control over where the Sidebar Area appears on your site. You can use check boxes in ProPhoto to set the page types where the Sidebar should be shown or hidden.

Adding Content

The ProPhoto Sidebar Area is filled with content from WordPress Widgets – learn more about them in this video:


Organize  your widgets to achieve lots of different layouts. Lots of different widgets are available – click to learn about some of the most commonly-used widgets.

Background Color & Images

Use solid colors or background images behind your widgets for a contrasting look or a continuous look to go with the rest of your site design. You can even add a custom image or border below your Sidebar Area to achieve a unique look.

Headlines, Links, and Text Styling

Each widget you add to your Sidebar Area that includes an optional Heading or text/links will be styled based on the overall settings you setup in ProPhoto’s “ProPhoto” > “Customize” > “Fonts” area. But if you would like a different style applied to your Sidebar Area content, you can use these ProPhoto settings to create a different look.
