"ProPhoto" > "Customize" > "Galleries" > "Slider Galleries"
ProPhoto Slider Galleries provide the option of displaying image captions and exif data (if present). This is indicated in the Slider gallery by the caption/exif data display icon in the lower right corner on the image. If the icon is present, the image has a caption and/or exif data. (No icon means no caption or exif data.) Captions will always display at the bottom of the image, and exif data at the top of the image.
This option area allows you to turn captions and exif data on/off in the Slider Gallery, as well as provides some basic styling/display options.
1) Background Color & Opacity of Caption/Exif Overlays
This option allows you to choose the background color of caption/exif data overlay, along with the transparency of the overlay. Simply click on the option and the color picker pop-up will appear, along with a slider bar for setting the transparency.
2) Text Color of Caption/Exif Overlays
Here you can choose the text color for the caption/exit data display using the color picker. Be aware that all of the other font settings for the caption/exif data text display come from the “Overall font appearance” settings under “ProPhoto” > “Customize” > “Fonts”.
3) Image Captions Display
If you have added any captions to your images, simply choose the “show image captions” option to display these captions within the Slider gallery. Again, they will display at the bottom of the image in the gallery. And if you want no image captions shown at all for the images in your Slider galleries, choose the “ignore image captions” option.
4) Image Exif Data Display
Just like captions, choose the “show image exif data” option to display image exif data, assuming it’s available for your image(s). If displayed, they will be displayed at the tops of your images in the gallery. And if you want it hidden, simply choose “ignore image exif data”.
5) Caption overlays start visible/hidden
In this area, you have the option of choosing whether image captions in your Slider galleries are shown visible by default (the “start visible” option). Or, if they display only when the caption display icon in the Slider gallery is clicked (the “start hidden” option).
6) Exif Overlays Start Visible/Hidden
Additionally, you can choose whether any exif data is shown visible by default, or is hidden and only displayed when the display icon is clicked in the gallery.
