Slider Gallery Options

This particular option can be found by logging into your site's admin area and going to:
"ProPhoto" > "Customize" > "Galleries" > "Slider Galleries"

If you haven’t already done so, you’ll want to check out our Slider Gallery overview.

ProPhoto gives you a variety of options for changing the overall appearance of your Slider galleries.

1) Prev/Next Arrows Position

You can choose whether you want the previous and next arrows on the Slider gallery to be overlaid on top of you slider gallery images, or separate from your images.

On the left, the pre/next arrows are overlaid on top of the image, and on the right, the prev/next arrows are separate from the image.

Be aware that the width of the display area for the slider gallery itself will not change.  But if you choose to have your prev/next arrows shown separate from the gallery images, the gallery images themselves will be downsized to make room for the separated arrows.

2) Slider Navigation Position

Similar to the prev/next arrows, you can choose to have the navigation bar at the bottom of the gallery to be overlaid on top of your gallery images, or separated below the images.

On the left, the navigation area is overlaid on top of the image, and on the right, the navigation is separate from the image.

3) Slider Background Color

If you check the set color box in this area, you can choose which color you’d like the background color to be of your slider gallery.  If the box is unchecked, it will be transparent.  If transparent, be aware that certain features, like the prev/next arrows, or the navigation options could blend in to the background of your post/page area, depending on other settings.

Oops, I unchecked the set color box so my slider gallery background is transparent, but now I can't see the navigation bar at the bottom because it's blending in to the background of the post.

4) Image Border

You can easily set an image border for the images displayed in your Slider galleries.  For example, these settings:

5)  Horizontal Spacing Between Images When Sliding

You can adjust the amount spacing in pixels that you’d like to appear between different images when scrolling through a Slider gallery.  Think of the images in your Slider gallery all laid out next to each one by one horizontally.  This option allows you to put a little spacing between each of the individual images so that as you scroll through, there is a small bit of separation or transition between each image.
